False Flags and Disinformation Tactics from Russians and Hybrid Transnational Networks

🔵🐧 In this exciting dive in I wanna immerse you all readers into the Semantic Analysis of the Fake Groups who claim to be denouncing Russia, the Kremlin, Putin and his clowns etc, instead they are supporters of them and they frame an hybrid kind of narrative.

These social groups are the most studied and they are the most dangerous ones for those who are seeking a group in which feel like sharing the same idea.

A necessary flashback :

Before starting to Counterspy the various Russian Propagandists, I started to keep an X profile in which I retweeted the NAFollower posts and I was following Ukrainian groups.

It was November 2022.

So I was doing that until October - November 2024.

Inside X and hidden in those groups there were users which created ambiguous, hybrid posts in which it appeared that they were denouncing Russian's aggressiveness.

Instead in the bottom lines of their posts they sent soft Pro-Russian meanings.

Usually the people who posted in that way were writing into Italian or English.

Or I could see more posts in those 2 languages because of my settings.

After a short comparative analysis lasted some days only in Facebook and in Quora, I noticed that there appear to be the same.

These were false Flags. Togheter with these there were and still there are very visible fake supports to Europe but within sensationalist posts in which the opinion of the clowns, ex. like Medvedev, are more credited than the ones of Europe.

Or again cutted posts in which the information coming from Europe is deliberately cutted and instead only the Russian Disinformation remain.

But one of the most colossal hoax made in Russia and carried on by journalettists as I name the unprofessional journalists, and there are too many, are the military "monsters" used by Russia which would scare Europe.

This all reminds me of the Troll factory and the agents of the Kremlin infiltrated in the Embassy in Roma.

This all reminds me also of those Russians entered in Italy through Cyprus and then Malta.

Safe areas in which they passed unobserved.

Then they paid a lot of money to restaurants and hotels.

Has something to do with some kind of public people who are having some intricate and strange dependencies with Russia. As they can't never say no to them.

Is this a sort of special commitment like that given to the mafias from their victims?

It appears to be that way....

And what if some among the False Flags are indeed posts in which the truth is partially said because the writer is afraid to tell everything?

In Quora there are armies of trolls in the supposed to help Ukraine groups, like Truth about Russia and Truth about Ukraine, they should both denounce Russian crimes. They do and after that they trigger user's reactions and then they erase the people's answers.

It reminds to me what has happened to me in Telegram during my Counterespionnage counter Astroturfing technique.

Over there the same kind of scheme has been used.

In some Telegram groups related to this Italian half unknown by me, Clara Statello, which became viral between December 2024 and February 2025, there was a lot of disinformation. From my observations it seems that some Ultra Neo Nazi Italian users, bearing disturbing profile pictures, were very active in the group related to the channel of this lady. She did not wrote nothing. And after having seen that there's a Facebook profile of her, I think that she doesn't exist but instead the SVR or other affiliates created this fictional character. If I am wrong I don't mind.

Because these people are using VKontakte and they are in networks which reach the Kremlin by the way.

Maybe since the infamous times of the birth of the PCI in Italy, there is this network of half hidden people who popped up in the social networks only now.

Semantically speaking each messages conveyed a double meaning, in order to wage a perception war.

These are the instruments used by Russia.

The scheme is quite easy to see. The post look like all the same in English and in Italian and the main source was Russian translated into English and then Italian. Passive constructions, quite complex grammar, unclear clue of the main topic, suspended or too interrogative kind of messages.

These and other linguistic devices like omissions or too positive adjectives like of "magnificence and deterrence" which are being attributed to Russia or Putin in some articles written into English or into Italian are for sure also the job of the Indian troll factory. From Goa, Orisha or North of India, wherever the R&AW Bharat Indian angecy is tasked by the now Russian SVR to do so: compile multilingual bullshits, make these credible, borrow some free space and try to breech inside some big newspapers.

When not effective, they will inject Google News or even MSN News aggregative portals with such trolling news disguised as Russia- Ukraine war information.

There are still a lot of people wondering what is the logic behind this, in large number in newspapers and social media outlets.

The main reason is that the involved European people who participate in such perception wars against Europe are those same who were discarded by something significant for them.

For example ex soldiers, people who were not admitted in the PA or that they were denounced inside that for something that they had done.

They link themselves to "mummy" Russia, without acknowledgement of the fact that such liason will cost them their life if they disobey or eventually change their minds.

See in Italy we are seeing politicians who are indeed "pusillanimi" we say in Italian, special kind of cowards.

They committed themselves to seek refuge from Russia like crazy children.

Later on they understood that this was not a peaceful nor a good idea for themselves.

What is it like living with 2 times per month Russian delegates seeking to control what these people do?

Should us common Italian people still think that our government was stinky of Russian corruption before this war escalated?

Furthermore it has to be noted that the Russian Trolls in Italy, via Official Embassy, sponsored the day of violence against women in order to appear linear with the European paradigms.

So the Pro-Russians illiterate will blindly trust them. In Italian we name this attitude with the collocation "pararsi il culo". Indeed Russians are the greatest paraculi.
