The idea of misusing philosophies and spiritual disciplines was exploited by the intellighenzias who were like invisible gloves manipulating the people. There was a former KGB then defected spy, Yuri Bemnezev, he narrated about the Demoralization technique of Russian Spies in the USA, back in the late 1980's.
